Chocolate Chip Date Milkshake

Ingredients
  

  • 4 –5 Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • ½ frozen banana for creaminess
  • 1 tbsp almond or peanut butter
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder optional for deeper chocolate flavor
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips or dairy-free chocolate chips
  • Ice cubes for desired thickness
  • Optional Add-Ins: 1 scoop protein powder chia seeds, or a pinch of cinnamon.

Method
 

  1. Soak your dates in warm water for 5 minutes if they’re firm.
  2. Add all ingredients except the chocolate chips to a blender. Blend until creamy.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips or pulse briefly to keep them chunky.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
  5. Pro Tip: For a frostier milkshake, freeze the banana overnight and add more ice cubes.
