Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: dairy-free milk, coconut oil, flax egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry until smooth (don’t overmix).
- Spoon or pipe batter into the donut pan, filling each about ¾ full.
- Bake 12–14 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before dipping in glaze.
