Black Bean Brownies

- 1 15oz can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1 tsp coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup coconut syrup
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup pecans
- chocolate syrup, optional for topping
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan. In a food processor, combine the black beans, eggs, oil, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Stir in the dark chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
