Labor Day has always marked the last days of summer. For a mountain girl it means fall is just weeks away and winter is only a month or two behind. In honor of the weekend and the Swine Flu we ended the summer right, roasting a 100 lb pig, named . There was beach volleyball, horseshoes and even a beer pong tourney on the infamous Cherry Street. I was merely a spectator this weekend.Oh course the “Swine Fest ’09 – 2” was hosted by the Cherry Ave Clan.
It will be interesting to see how they top this summer next year……
