Pre Thanksgiving Weekend Update

Happy Monday!  

Who’s ready for the upcoming long weekend? I am and I’m also looking forward to only working two days this week since I’m taking Wednesday off too. 

A few resorts opened (just a few lifts) this week so saturday morning Nick and I headed to Heavenly Mountain Resort for a few hours before the next storm rolled in.

After a few hours of sliding on snow we called it quits. 

Guess who had their hair cut? This girl! I think I cut off about 2 inches. 

It was prefect timing since later that night I rocked out with some girlfriends at the Joan Jett  & the Blackhearts concert. Here’s Jes and I at the HQ bar in MontBleu Casino.

“I love rock ‘n’ roll, put another dime in the juke box baby…”

Sunday the mountain started out on wind hold so I  enjoyed my coffee and watched a little HGTV. Eventually the lifts started turning, but I was already deep into house chores and making these bad boys…. date filled cookies. They are delish. More on the cookies tomorrow.

It was a great weekend and I’m looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with family.
