How far along:
Exactly 23 weeks today!
Baby’s size:
Our peanut is the size of an grapefruit. About 10.5-11.8 inches and 12.7-20.8 ounces.
Weight gain:
Roughly 9 pounds.
It was all the delicious treats I indulged in while at Feast PDX. The baby loved every bite, sip and scoop.
Food cravings:
Sleep:
sleeping great especially after crossfit! I slept 9 hours Tuesday night.
Gender:
Just in case you missed the reveal it’s a GIRL!
Movement:
Best moment this week:
Honestly, the best moment this week has nothing to do with our baby girl. Our permit for a kitchen remodel was approved. This is good news because we’ll have a shiny new kitchen before the baby comes!
Miss anything?
Symptoms:
I noticed I started getting headaches towards the end of the day. To address the issue I increased my water intake from 2 litters to 3 litters a day. Problem solved.
Workouts:
CrossFit,
spin and walking/running. I’m
still logging a fair amount of workouts a week. I’m just trying to maintain. Running started feeling awkward this week. My brother wants me to run a 10k with him this weekend. Honestly I don’t know how I would even feel about a 5 k. I haven’t been logging many “running” miles since Tough Mudder in August.
Maternity Clothes?
Yes and no. I’ve bought a few pieces, but still find a good amount of my clothes still work. Maxi skirts, dresses and well the BeBand helps too. Once I’m further along I’ll post about maternity attire and how I made my closet work for me.
happy. Pumped about the kitchen.
Looking forward to:
My baby shower next month, apple picking and of course a brand new kitchen and living space. The nursery wont happen until after the kitchen done. Why? We’ll need the space to store items and we plan on replacing the carpet with hardwood flooring as well. YAY for hardwood floors throughout the house!
