Today marked my first real powder day of the season. Although, we’ve had numerous powder days and even a powder week today was my first real powder day. We all knew it was coming, but you just don’t know how much snow is really going to fall until it comes. RSN said 10″ and I was out the door heading to Heavenly ready to score me some freshies!

Any powder day makes you feel like a kid in a candy store. It’s days like today that remind me why I moved to Tahoe and why I continue to stay. With around 3 months left in the season I plan to lock in a few more powder days!
