Winter Layering Essentials

At the end of the month, I will have lived in Tahoe for 14 years! It’s crazy to imagine what was initially meant to be a winter season turned into a lifetime. I’ve experienced dry winters and epic snowstorms. After last winter I’m crossing my fingers for an average year.

Speaking of winter now is the time to stock up on essentials! You could say over the last few years I’ve acquired a few winter items… ok A LOT! However, that doesn’t mean I don’t like to swap out a few pieces annually.

THERMALS
First things first, Cuddl Duds buffalo check thermals! While they are mostly meant for wearing under jeans, etc. they also double up as cozy PJs. The leggings even have packets and they are available in an array of colors and prints. You can mix and match or go matchy-matchy like it did. (I’m wearing a small top/bottom)

LEGGINGS

The Cuddl Duds Softwear with Stretch Leggings are cozy and warm whether you wear them alone or layered under jeans. I’m pretty sure it was 40 degrees out when we were walking the dog! And yes you can snag a matching long sleeve. Which pairs perfectly under any puffer. (I’m wearing a small, but would size down in the leggings.)

HOODIE, TUNIC OR VEST
