As we continue to narrow in on the 19th it seems as though we create more and more (house) work for ourselves, but every once in awhile it’s time to cut loose and we did just that this weekend — bikes, bbq’s, music on the beach and good friends! Here’s our weekend recap through my iphone….

We kicked of the weekend early on Thursday with a bike ride down to the new Lakeview Commons area for the weekly concert.
After a Friday lunch meeting at MontBleu Casino & Resort I headed to the Hot August Nights Car Show to work on some “Social Media.”
Friday Night Nick and I checked out the new Blue Dog “Midtown” pizza place located just a few block from the house… and yes we road bikes! As always, the pizza was delish.
Saturday we worked on the house and our friends Jenn & Nick (from SF) came over for a little BBQ.
Since Jenn & Nick relaxed on Baldwin Beach on Saturday I decided to show them a little Tahoe hidden gem, Angora Lake. We packed up the car with plenty of treats and Roxy and made our way to the little Alpine Lake.
Roxy swam for two hours straight! Let’s just say this little dog will sleep for a day or two now.
We watched brave souls jump off the cliffs in the distance, basked in the sun, enjoyed our picnic lunch and reminisced about old times.
I’ve know these two (Jenn & Nick) for nearly 10 years! Here’s to another 10+ years.. love you guys! Let’s do it again in two weeks!
