Creating a healthy life and home means getting the whole family involved. The key is making it fun! I workout and eat healthily, but it doesn’t stop with me. It’s a family affair.
By creating these habits now I hope I’m setting my daughter up for a life without chronic illness, disease, etc. I also hope that Nick and I will live a long happy life. I mean no one ever says they want to be sick. I look at exercise and making better foods choices as preventative care. I’m looking at the long game just like I do with my finances (more on that another time).
So how do we live that fit family life?
We run/walk together.
Emerson likes to show me how to “run” or race. While these “runs” are usually at a run/walk pace I’m ok with it.
We bike together.
Soon enough Emerson will be peddling along the side of us. Until then, she’ll be in the support car yelling at us to let her out.
We workout on Vacation.
Just because we’re on vacation doesn’t mean we can’t get a little sweat in poolside.
