Over the last few years I’ve started converting friends to Columbia. It all started with omni-heat. One friend, then two and before I knew a number were hooked. After omni-heat came omni-freeze and water shoes. Now it’s all about Columbia. Did you know they’ve been trying stuff since 1938.
There are a number of must have items for summer, but I narrowed them down to just a few.
It’s amazing! You need to but one today. I only own one, but I plan to buy another soon. I’ve sweat my little heart out in this tank from spin to crossfit and I’ve never felt soaked in sweat although I was. That’s the omni-wick and omni-freeze hard at work. MSRP: $50
Living in Lake Tahoe I spend a good amount of time exploring the great outdoors. Shoes can make or break any adventure and water shoes are key. I’m not talking about the water socks you wore as a kid (ok, maybe that was just me). I’m talking about rugged water shoes that you can hike, run, kayak or paddleboard in. They are worth every penny. I’ve traveled my fair share over the years and there’s one thing that’s consistent, functional and fashionable dresses. I may not own this particular dress, but I could picture myself rocking it in Tahoe, Mexico or San Diego. It’s prefect for grabbing drinks at the local Catina or post paddling/ hiking adventures. Sometimes you just need a lightweight shirt over a tank or bikini. I actually could have used this shirt kayaking on Saturday. It was a bit breezy towards the end of our trip. Best feature — roll-up sleeves that fasten to become three-quarter length. I like options! MRSP: $45
