Bump Update: 15 Weeks

Dress

How far along:
Exactly 15 weeks today!

Baby’s size:
Our peanut is the size of an orange. About 4 inches and 2.5 ounces.

Weight gain:
So far only 5 pounds which is right on track. The goal is to only gain about 20 pounds overall. This will help keep me and the baby healthy.

Food cravings:

Nothing to really note. Just always hungry. Overall, I’m eating a ton of fruit, salad and the occasional sweet treat. I’m controlling myself as much as possible to not go overboard. I keep reminding myself — only an extra 300 calories a day.

Anything making you queasy or sick:

No. I’m only lucky girl.

Sleep:
Still sleeping like a champ. My nightly average is between 8-9 hours. Of course I’m waking up for a nightly bathroom break.

Gender:
We find out in about three weeks. Fingers crossed! Don’t forget to cast your vote –upper right of the blog if you’re leaning one way or another.

Movement:
Nothing yet. It’s still too early.

Best moment this week:
Volunteering at the Oscar de la Renta Fashion show. Catching up with friends and filling them in about the news for the first time.

Miss anything?
A cocktail at the Lady Gaga concert. I think this will be a recurring theme in the months to follow.

Symptoms:
I mostly feel like myself. Every so how I feel a pain here and there, but my body is changing which is to be expected.

Workouts:
I’m still hitting the GYM hard and logging 6-8 workouts a week. Tough Mudder is in one week. I’m nervous and ready at the same time. (2012, 2013)

Maternity Clothes?
No, not yet. I would love to purchase a few items however, I’m waiting to see what happens over the next few months.

Mood:
Overall happy.

Looking forward to:
We can’t wait to find out whether our peanut is a boy or girl. Feast Portland is next month and my mom is planning a trip to Tahoe in October to start decorating the baby room.
