Do you every wonder how this fit junkie indulges? Well, honestly, it depends on the day. No seriously. Lately I’m been trying to be on point with my eating so my ‘treats’ have been a little better for me. Like last night I made faux banana splits. We’ll call them mini banana split tarts/pies for good measure. You see, while I was at my local Walmart, last week the fresh fruit and Reddi-wip® original were calling my name. It didn’t help that they were on display next to each other! Needless to say they jumped in my cart, along with Keebler® Ready Crust® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust (6-count), Dannon® Light & Fit® Strawberry Cheesecake Greek Yogurt and a number of other items.
Fast forward to Saturday afternoon, my sweet tooth was screaming — FEED ME. I obliged.
These ‘pies’ are effortless, great family snacks, simple and make for a healthier dessert option, too.
Mini Banana Spilt Tarts [aka pies]
2 Dannon® Light & Fit® Strawberry Cheesecake Greek Yogurt
1 banana sliced
6 strawberries sliced
1 pkg Keebler® Ready Crust® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust (6-count)
1 can Reddi-wip®
1 tbsp carob powder/cocoa powder for dusting
Add sliced banana to bottom of Keebler® Ready Crust® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crust [about 3-4 slices]. Top with yogurt and spread evenly. Layer with strawberries, Reddi-wip® and blackberries. If deserved garnish with a dusting of carob powder/cocoa powder.
Serve immediately. Enjoy!
