Gift Ideas for a Two Year Old

Emerson turns two this weekend! Two years has flown by and we’re celebrating with a small party. Since Emerson doesn’t need anything we asked family to donate to her college fund in lieu of a gift. However it’s always fun putting together a little gift guide.

So what made the list?

Clothes — Even though it’s the middle of winter I included a few spring/summer pieces. Girlfriend has enough winter clothes. Last summer she lived in her jelly sandals so I figured she’ll need a pair for this summer.

Books always make the list because a kid can never have too many books. Every night we have to read at least three books. Emerson always says “one more.”

Toys — We bought Emerson a kitchen for Christmas so I wanted to add a few pieces. Isn’t the coffee maker too cute? Playing to the summer theme again I included a Green Toys tool set and Little People camp set.

It’s all about keeping things simple.
