Happy New Years Eve! How are you Celebrating?
We’re back into the full swing of things here in Tahoe. Last week we were busy bees in Colorado and Utah. There was tons of family time, a brewery tour and thigh high powder in Utah. Oh and five feet of snow waiting patiently for us at home!
Here are the cliff notes of just Christmas:
Saturday morning we hit the open road. While we drove to Fort Collins, CO it was dumping snow in Tahoe.
Sunday we watched a little football and visited with Nick’s parents, sister and baby J before heading to Colorado Springs.
Monday, Christmas Eve, we headed out to Garden of Gods for a little walkabout.
My brother lives in Colorado Springs so my sister and I both made the trip out this year to spend Christmas with one of our favorite guys…. Marcus.

The dogs were tuckered out from playing all day. Auggie even rocked a Christmas sweater.

After an amazing dinner we headed back to Fort Collins. I spent Christmas morning with this little man, baby J. Oh yeah — I’m rocking HO! HO! HO! pj’s, thanks Brit.
We spent the day relaxing and opened gifts later that night. Apparently the Meyer tradition is to guess the gift before opening it. Here’s Nick giving it a go. I think he might have even guessed this one right.
I’m keeping it real… a super cheesy photo of me with my new favorite book, from the bloggers over at Young House Love and a homemade rooster pin cushion from grandma Jo!
