Did you know, we need protein for almost every metabolic process in the body? Making sure to get enough protein will help preserve lean mass (i.e., bone and muscle), as well as help you feel fuller, longer.⁣

The secret to my mind-blowing PB&J Cups is the Protein Cherry Chia Jam. I'm not afraid to sneak in extra protein any chance I get. ⁣
⁣
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗺⁣
⁣
Ingredients⁣
⁣
2 cups frozen dark sweet cherries⁣
1 lemon, juiced⁣
2 tbsp chia seeds⁣
10g @bubsnaturals collagen powder⁣
1-2 tsp sweetener of choice.⁣
⁣
Directions⁣
⁣
Add the thawed cherries, lemon juice, chia seeds, collagen and sweetener to a saucepan over medium heat.⁣
⁣
Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Gently mash the cherries with a wooden spoon or fork.⁣
⁣
Bring the mixture to a low-boil, cover with a lid, then reduce heat to low. Allow this to simmer for 10 minutes. The jam will thicken as it cools. Once cool, taste the jam and add more sweetener if needed. ⁣
⁣
Store  jam in an air-tight container in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.⁣
⁣
