Well, yesterday I completed another Olympic Triath Well, yesterday I completed another Olympic Triathlon. Probably one of the most scenic and hardest courses.

While the experience was not only physically challenging, it was VERY mentally challenging. I learned a lot about the importance of perseverance and overcoming obstacles. Despite facing several setbacks throughout the race, I refused to quit and pushed myself to the end.

Every time I thought about quitting, I told myself that I'm a bad B and that I got this. In the end, I completed the triathlon, and while I didn't PR, I felt an immense sense of accomplishment (and cried). The experience taught me that no matter what obstacles we face in life, we are capable of overcoming them if we refuse to quit and push ourselves to the end.

But what I'm really here to talk about is the importance of running your own race. As someone who is into fitness and health, I know how easy it can be to compare yourself to others and feel like you're not measuring up. But here's the thing: your journey is unique and special, and comparing yourself to others will only hold you back.⁣
⁣
Instead of focusing on what others are doing, focus on your own progress and achievements. Set goals that are meaningful to you, and work towards them at your own pace. Remember that everyone's journey is different, and that's okay. What matters is that you're taking steps towards a healthier, happier you.⁣
⁣
So whether you're just starting out on your fitness journey or you've been at it for a while, remember to run your own race. Celebrate your wins, learn from your setbacks, and keep moving forward. You got this!

I wanted to talk about something that's been on my I wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind lately - when and how to use supplements and protein powders. As someone who is into fitness and health, I know that there is a lot of information out there about supplements and it can be overwhelming to figure out what you really need.⁣
⁣
First and foremost, I believe that getting nutrients and protein from whole foods should always be the priority. However, there may be times when it's difficult to get enough protein or other nutrients from food alone. For example, if you're a vegetarian or vegan, it can be challenging to get enough protein without supplements. Or, if you're an athlete or bodybuilder, you may need more protein than the average person.⁣
⁣
When it comes to protein powder, there are a few things to consider before choosing one.⁣
⁣
1. You want to make sure that the protein powder you're using is safe and of good quality. Look for brands that have been third-party tested for purity and quality. ⁣
⁣
2. Consider your dietary restrictions or preferences. If you're lactose intolerant, you may want to avoid whey protein and opt for a plant-based protein powder instead. ⁣
⁣
3. Think about your goals. Are you looking to build muscle? Lose weight? Maintain your current physique? Different types of protein powders may be more beneficial depending on your specific goals.⁣
⁣
Ultimately, the decision to use supplements and protein powders is a personal one. If you feel like you're not getting enough nutrients or protein from your diet, it may be worth considering. Just be sure to do your research and choose safe and effective products. And as always, consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen.
