Is the man in your life hard to shop for? You’re not alone. I’m sure 4 out of 5 of you said yes. Well this year, like every year, when I asked the hubby for gift ideas his response was “I don’t need anything” followed by more “ice fishing gear.” Since I don’t have a clue about ice fishing I put together a list of other items.
Maybe Santa will leave a Cabela’s or SCHEELS gift card in his stocking.
Clothing: If he’s going to be out ice fishing he’ll need some warm gear. The TheNorth Face Red Blaze Vest and Patagonia Organic Cotton Flannel Shirt should keep him cozy while he’s drinking beers
with the boys waiting for a bite.
Ice Fishing Tent: They call it a shelter, but it looks like a tent to me. Speaking of staying warm, this tent should keep him nice and toasty.
Footwear: Everyone needs a good pair of running shoes and since the hubby is also
training for a half marathon I figured he’ll need some new kicks, like the Nike Free Running Shoe. The OluKai Moloa loafer is perfect for after the race, brunch (wishful thinking) or
just simply kicking back.
BBQ Tools: My man knows a thing or two about bbqing and his utensils have seen
better days. These bad boys are just the replacement.
Ice Fishing Tackle: I don’t even know
what fish1 or fish2 are for, other than catching fish, but they sure are purdy.
Alarm Clock: These days we use our phone to wake up, so why not have a nice
bedside dock for it to charge in while you catch ZZZ’s. (Side note: I wonder if it come with two adapters, one for the 4 and 5 series)
Apple Store:
The Mr will need some tunes pumping while he trains for the half marathon and
well during the race too.
