Happy New Year!
There’s something refreshing about the new year. In a weird way everyone gets a fresh start. I’ve never been one to make resolutions, partly because I can’t keep them and well I just simply forget. This year I thought I would try something new.
I’m a true believer in letting things happen, but I’m also a planner.
This year my goal is to try and live in the moment. I’m usually so worried about what’s going to happen next. It’s time to step back and breathe it all in.

The planner side of me decided to set five monthly goals that are mildly attainable. So here goes nothing….
January Goals
1. Complete Whole 30 — Eat real food – meat, seafood, eggs, tons of vegetables, some fruit, and plenty of good fats from fruits, oils, nuts and seeds for 30 days. This means no sweets or alcohol. I’m on day three.
2. Hydrate: I work out a ton and I’m so bad about this. My goal is to drink at least 64 oz of water a day.
3. Clean out my closet: I’ve probably been talking about this for the last year, well it’s time!
4. Read a book: This sounds so simple, but seriously it’s been at least four months since I finished a book.
5. Kitchen Planning: This will be a bit on going, but it’s time to seriously think beyond just removing the wall.
Did you set any goals for the year or month?
psst: I’m linking up with Casey Leigh and a handful of other great bloggers today!

I like the idea of setting smaller, monthly goals to stay on track for the year.
Are you having any gnarly cravings on your 30 day clean eating challeng?
Tiara Wasner says
No cravings yet… That might change in a week 🙂 Everything I've made so far has been delicious. I plan on writing up a recap once I'm done.

Thanks Jane! I think it helps that the hubby is on board.

We;ve talked about trying whole30 but I want to wait until I am done nursing Wells. Good luck with your goals and happy new year!

So impressed that you're doing the Whole30! Wine and sweets would be the hardest part for me! Though I am SERIOUSLY cutting back right now. Scary what a difference it makes!
