The time I was on HGTV

So you’re probably thinking what? Did she get a new kitchen? Backyard makeover? Lucky girl!

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. You may or may not know, but the 2014 HGTV Dream Home is in Lake Tahoe California! Truckee to be exact. Last week HGTV’s Dream Home episode aired and highlighted a handful of activities Lake Tahoe offers. Well yours truly made the cut!

Remember when I ran this little race called Tough Mudder at Nortstar at Tahoe last September? Yup, there I am front and center walking, tutu and all, to the starting line. Just in case you missed it I was able to pull the clip from YouTube (12 secs).

After the episode initially aired I received calls/texts from family/friends and even notes from a few bloggers (Jayme from Her Late Night Cravings and Ashley from Piloting Life) saying they saw me. Needless to say I felt like a rock star for a few days.

Now I just need HGTV to come back and really remodel the kitchen.
