When you’re hiking with a dog there are a few things you need to think about. You’re not just packing for yourself.
What to bring when hiking with dogs:
+ Pack plenty of food and water [plus, a little extra]
+ Bring a collapsable water bowl
+ Poop bag — [Pick up your dog poop!]
+ A extra leash.
+ First aid kit
Before you leave the house:
+ Check you dogs paw pads before hitting the trial.
+ Be aware of the weather.
+ Know your dogs hiking ability and don’t push it.
+ Make sure your dogs I.D. and shots are up to date.
