Happy 2018! There’s just something about a new year. The feeling of a fresh start, clean slate, etc. just gets me all jazzed. I’m not big on resolutions, but I do like to create mini goals for myself throughout the year. It’s hard to pick a word, but if I had to it would be more of a phrase — Be Present. Emerson is growing up so fast and I feel like I’m pulled in different directions all the time that I sometimes I don’t give her my undivided attention. We don’t plan to have any more kids so there’s that.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Hummus (pictured above)! Ok – I know it sounds odd, but trust me it was so good I made it twice in one weekend. Whether you eat by the spoonful or with sliced apples it’s a snack that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Technically, I’m working on not spending anything but my Athleta purchase from last weekend arrived this week! That counts right. Did you buy anything during the Athleta Semi-Annual Sale? I ended up buying this hat, a tank, and these pants and only paid $10 because I had GAP rewards!

YASSO Mint Ice Cream Sandwich! I bought these on a whim last weekend at our discount store and I’m here to tell you to buy them. They are delicious and totally macro friendly! You can thank me later.
