I’m not going to lie. I love food, I don’t count calories, I eat whatever I want and I workout (cue I’m sexy and I know it). Ok, all jokes aside I eat pretty healthy, but as I mentioned yesterday I had some amazing pizza Friday and had to share.
Base Camp Pizza is a fairly new restaurant on the South Shore. They offer gourmet pizzas, drinks served in manson jars and a fun camp like atmosphere. I was there for a lunch meeting and can’t wait to go back with Nick and winter visitors. Hands down it’s now my favorite pizza place. We ordered a large half Thai Chicken Curry half Big Mountain pizza, Apple & Walnut Salad and Out of the Oven Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Italian and Thai worlds collide and the result — Thai Chicken Curry pizza. It has the perfect ratio of curry, cilantro, veggies, chicken and lime to dough. Base Camp Pizza is family friendly, perfect for a date night or lunch with the girls. Rumor has it they might sell pizza by the slice this winter. I can’t wait to cap off a long day on the mountain with a couple of slices of pizza from an outside pizza bar.
